How do I move my progress to a new device?
If you use iCloud Backup, restoring your new iPhone or iPad from that backup brings Jot's progress with it. Or, in Jot, open Settings → Export backup, send the file to the new device, and choose Import backup there.

Do I need an account?
No. Jot has no accounts and works offline.

Why does Jot want the microphone?
Only for the read-aloud exercises, so you can hear yourself next to Jot's voice. Recordings never leave your device, and the rest of Jot works without it.
